Linux version available
The BrainPot is now available for Linux. GTK 2 (integrated in Ubuntu) and a x86-system is required. Other platforms can be supported on demand. Start the BrainPot using Java Web-Start. Any feedback is appreciated.
The BrainPot is now available for Linux. GTK 2 (integrated in Ubuntu) and a x86-system is required. Other platforms can be supported on demand. Start the BrainPot using Java Web-Start. Any feedback is appreciated.
There has been a lot improvements to the BrainPot in the last days. The most important change is that you can now use the BrainPot as a hyperlink/URL library. URLs like http://www.google.com are automatically detected in the text. Just click on it to open the page. Additionally there is for now on a Mac OS X application bundle for download.
I created an example BrainPot-file for you. Here you can see what can be done with the BrainPot. Just start the BrainPot and open the example file, which can be downloaded here.

This is the first public release of the life-organizing tool. There are things to come in the future. In the meantime enjoy the current release and don’t hesitate to give feedback or ask questions here. See the feature-page for the features of this release. Start the BrainPot here.
